Underwhelming, bland, not sweet enough.
These are a pretty good cookie. The texture is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. However, the flavor falls a bit flat. It lacks that rich, buttery flavor I look for in a chocolate chip cookie. Also I would prefer semi-sweet chips because the bitterness pairs better with such a sweet cookie. Toasted walnuts would be good in these cookies.
