I really liked this recipe. I followed it exactly and it came out great. I made it at work for 240 people in a big tilt skillet (braiser). I browned the beef, added everything else and kept it boiling gently for 4 hours. It was fork tender and shredded easily. The sauce was thick and rich with a nice depth of flavor. We served it over rice and it was a huge hit. I will definitely be making this again.
it's a good recipe although I only used 1/4 of the amount of zest and orange juice, I had a feeling it would be too strong and I was right. I'm very glad I only used half. The jam is the perfect amount of tart and sweet and that little bit of orange really brightens the flavor. I added 4 drops of red food coloring. I'll use this recipe again.
Yummy cookie but the batter is so stiff it's a little hard on the mixer.
