Fantastic! My first chowder and I came off looking like a pro. I use the larger pieces of clam in lieu of the minced pieces. Also, I throw in some fresh cooked bacon bits and a little bit of bacon grease for added flavor. Make a day ahead of time, flavors are even better after a day in the fridge. Thanks Sharon.

Grandma's Slow Cooker Vegetarian Chili

I didn't care too much for the taste. Took much longer to cook than described. I cooked in slow cooker 8 hrs on low. Better flavor the next day. Is easy to assemble. With a few more trials I probably could tweak it more to my taste.

French Onion Soup I

Delicious recipe. Even better after resting in the fridge for a day, just reheat juice and bake.

Brussels Sprouts and Chestnuts

I did not care for the taste. It may have been the quality of the orange I used. I do like the possibilty of an orange sauce and brussels. May give it a try with orange juice.

BLT Salad

Excellent salad, very easy to make. You can make up the dressing the day before and toss in final ingredients just prior to serving. I recommend using a lightly seasoned crouton to avoid too much salt.
