I come from a big family that enjoys to cook and LOVES to eat. As a child I had many summers visiting my grandparents in Corpus Christie,Tx. They always had a vegetable garden and could cook the best catfish. My parents also make delicious food. My mom is the baker(her carrot cake is Devine) and my dad makes hands-down the best Chili!

Dirty Texan Rice

Here's a dirty rice recipe that doesn't use chicken gizzards or livers. We always serve this with hot sauce on the table!

Sausage Cheese Dip

This is a hearty dip! It has velveeta, sausage, cream of mushroom, and rotel. This is my take on a dip a woman from my church used to make. It's so good.
