I used 1 1/2 tsp. McCormick Grillers Montreal Steak seasoning (you can add more or less). Also I used 85% lean ground beef to avoid dryness along with sm. can of cream of mushroom soup. Delicious!
Great recipie! I used a Kitchen Aid mixer with the cookie dough beater. It did bring out more raspberry than banana flavor but it made the bread nice and fluffy. I didn't mind the seeds so I didn't use the sieve. I'll have to try the applesauce idea next time. Mom and I had to have seconds!
I did mine in the oven, They turned out fine. As far as the bake time, I did mine about 10 minutes and checked them. Still not brown enough I added another 5 minutes for a total of 15 minutes. Turned out fine.
Made this for a womens' brunch at my church. When I got there, there were about 8 or 10 other casseroles and I was sure I would be bringing most of mine home. When I went to get what was left of mine................it was GONE!
I would make this again. I added a little more beef and bar-b-q sauce. Also I used the Hunts Diced tomatoes with red pepper. Much tastier for those who like a little more heat! I used one cup of Jack Daniels bar-b-q sauce. Made it more interesting. i'll also try using a little less cornbread next time.
Very tasty. I did add some leftover kidney beans. Very good!
Mom and I love this recipe. I wasn't sure if I should use condensed tomato soup or regular so, I used the condensed and added about 3/4 can of water. Turned out great!
Good but, I think the next time I'll try putting the spices under the skin.
Not bad. I didn't have Romano cheese so i used grated Monterey Jack and a little grated Parmesan instead. I also used fresh Baby Dill instead. Would be good with Texas Toast on the side,
