This was such an unbelievably easy and filling meal. My husband LOVED this recipe, and he normally doesn't touch zucchini with a 10-ft pole! I just loved how healthy it was, and all the colors, and the pork chops were DELICIOUS!!! However, next time I will omit the cinnamon and allspice, and add something different - the combination didn't work for me on the vegetables. I read other reviews before trying it, and purposefully watched my vegetables in the skillet, not letting them blacken TOO much, so they were cooked perfectly after being simmered and not too mushy! I served it with wild rice and french bread...ummmm good!
After getting over my fears of lentils and apricots together... I decided to trust the good ratings and reviews and tried this recipe myself... I'm so glad I did. I made it for family and everyone, including my picky-eater niece & nephew loved it. I took other reviews advice and served it with rice, which was tasty, but it didn't need it, this soup was super filling all by itself. I didn't puree the soup as I like more of a chunky stew texture, and I didn't peel the tomatoes before chopping either, but it was delicious. I will definitely make this again!
This was my first time cooking fish and it turned out wonderful. I used lemon pepper seasoning instead of just plain pepper and it tasted sensational. My husband loved it so much, he went back for seconds. Will definitely use again.
This was a great and easy stew recipe, but there was not enough flavor for me Even after doubling a lot of the seasonings, both my husband and I found we had to still add additional seasonings to make it flavorful enough. Next time I'll get very creative on my spices.
Made this last night and my husband hailed it immediately in his top 5 meals of all time. I didn't have pepperjack cheese so used a mozzerella/cheddar blend, but added some paprika to give it some extra flavor. It turned out perfectly... served with fresh asparagus and some rice, it was a delicious dinner that I'll definitely make again!
This was so delicious! I took other reviews advise and substituted the oregano for the cumin. I also used plain chicken broth instead of the water and doubled the corn as I didn't have hominy. It was so easy, smelled amazing while cooking and tasted incredible. It was a huge hit and I will definitely make it again!!
For years I've been a fan of my grandmother's potato salad, and so was quite distressed when I couldn't find her recipe the the other day. So I hopped on good ol' allrecipes.com and came across this WONDERFUL recipe. SOOO easy, SOOO delicious, and I'm sorry to say Grandma... I won't be going back to yours. I made the recipe almost exactly as written, but used red potatoes so I didn't have to peel them, and also doubled the bacon as a few people suggested. I didn't have parsley on hand so sliced some bell pepper rings on top for garnish ~ it was quick, easy and what a winner, my husband has already begged me to make it again.
This was great and super easy to make. I did as others had suggested and just made everything in one skillet, pushing the other veggies aside to cook the egg. I didn't have green onion so next time I think I'll saute regular onion in the mix, and I think I will cut the pork cubes up smaller. It was a great side dish to our pork chops though and awesome served with roasted broccoli!
I thought this was fantastic. I had a bunch of blueberries that I needed to use and was so excited when I found this recipe. I reduced the balsamic first and that made a huge difference in the sauce not being too overpowering in the vinegar department. I had a big salmon fillet so I baked it in the oven with some butter and light seasoning and the sauce was absolutely delicious with it. Served with wild rice and green beans and both my husband and I loved it! I will definitely make this again.
I thought this was a great recipe. I have an abundance of zucchini from my garden and this was a perfect way to use it up. I made it as written, except I forgot the garlic (will definitely include that next time), and I didn't have cilantro...but I served it up with fresh diced tomatoes on top after it was done cooking and my husband and two small children both loved it! Next time I'll add an extra jalapeno for a little more kick.
This soup was delicious!!! I made it with only a couple changes based on other reviews... I doubled the garlic, used 4 cups of chicken broth instead of water and added in an extra can of diced tomatoes along with the tomato sauce. My family LOVED it, my husband along with my 2 year old and 4 year old all went back for seconds!! Thanks for the great recipe, I'll definitely be using this one often!!
I love this recipe. The flavor is great and it's SOOO easy! I modify it slightly, I use chicken tenders (they cook up quicker) and I cook it stove top rather than baking it. I also double the sauce, and serve it with rice which I also spoon the extra sauce over! Thanks for a great chicken recipe!
