i did not have pure maple syrup, i used regular syrup and this still turned out delicious
made these last nite, they were very good, i need to try again though as the cheeze did not stick to the bottom of the potatoes very well
i followed the recipe exactly except i breifly fried th flour tortillas prior to stuffing them thinking it would keep them from being soggy as other reviewers had mentioned, it helped a little but the bottoms were still very soggy so ive rated this a 4 as far as the taste goes,,,,,its a 5 so next time i will use corn tortillas
very good sauce, mine didnt thicken as i anticipated, but it was still good. the ribs were very tender. i will be keeping this recipe
very fast & easy recipe. i doubled the recipe and added a couple of red potatoes, added no celery, personal preferance used celery salt instead. i also added pint of heavy whipping cream.
excellent rub, that said, i had a 2 lb tri tip roast and should have taken the advise of others and removed it from the grill in 25 min, i left it on for an extra 20 min and after it sat for a few minutes it cooked itself up to med well -Bumor!! but next time i will know and will use this excellent rub for sure!
