I made this recipe as is and I felt like it was very bland. No kick to it like described. Great crunch though. I would add more spices and salt to give it more flavor.
This recipe s delicious! I will definitely make them again. The biscuits are great on their own but even better with the strawberries and cream. This was a big hit with my family.
I made this icing for a chocolate cake. I only changed the amount of confectioners sugar. I used 2 1/2 cups instead of 4. It was plenty sweet. I did not find it to be runny at all as some people mentioned and their reviews. my family loved it! I will definitely use this recipe again.
I made this exactly how it was written in the recipe. It was wonderful. It's not overly sweet which was nice. It was more like a mousse. I will use this every time I make a chocolate icing.
I tweaked the recipe just a bit. I made the apples and the sauce first in the frying pan. I took the applesauce and set it aside in a bowl and fried my pork chops in the same pan I used to make my sauce. Instead of frying it in oil I used butter. Once my pork chops were golden brown I sliced them and put them back in my pan along with the apples and sauce that I had made. I let them finish cooking in the apples and sauce. It turned out delicious.
I used keebler club crackers and garlic powder and pepper to make my breading. I dipped the pork in flour first and then an egg wash so the breading would stick better. They were moist in the center and crispy on the outside.
I made this for my family and it was gone in a day. I used 4 egg yolks and 1 cup of fresh squeezed lime juice plus 2 cans condensed milk for the recipe. It was delicious!
