Best cocktail sauce I've ever had! I quadrupled the wasabi because my boyfriend and I are big fans of it. I also added another teaspoon of brown sugar to dampen the "ketchup" taste. A note of caution on the wasabi: I made it immediately before adding it to the recipe, and I noticed that it had a lot more heat after sitting for a few minutes. We still enjoyed it, but if I made this for someone else, I would take it down a couple notches.
This recipe was too sweet for me. If I used it again, I would cut the sugar by at least half. My friend recommended using only 2 Tablespoons next time.
We loved this! It has a lot of flavor. It had a lot of garlic flavor - my boyfriend loved it, but I thought it was just a little strong. We will definitely be trying this again!
Excellent! I made two smaller cheesecakes - one with an oreo crust and another with a graham cracker crust. I think I prefered the graham cracker crust, although I overbaked the oreo one just a little... This was my first attempt at cheesecake, and it was easier than I expected. My only complaint was how long the raspberries took to drain. I will try the jam suggestion next time.
Very easy and worked well in a pinch. Seemed like it would be much better with more spices. I will try adding a few next time I try it.
This was very good! I think next time I will kick up the wasabi a little and leave off the cabbage. It made for a good presentation, but for an easy evening meal it was unnecessary - nobody ate it anyway.
