These were delicious. I expected them to rise a little (they are cakes, after all) and have a gooey, liquid-y center. Neither happened. However, the flavor was amazing. I used semi-sweet chocolate instead of dark chocolate (it was what I had on hand), and the cake had a nice, sweet, but not too sweet chocolate flavor. I would probably make this again.
These pancakes were incredible! They turned out very thick and fluffy. I halved the recipe and ended up with eight pancakes. The maple flavor is definitely subtle, but they're delicious with or without syrup. I'll definitely be making these again!
