This is a great potato salad! The only substitution I made was green onion - my kids hate biting into bits of raw, hard onion, so chopped green onions always work nicely for me. The sweet potatoes added such a nice touch, and my husband, who thinks he hates sweet potato, thought they were carrots and loved them!
After a long afternoon of snacking, I was looking for a nice light meal for my family. These were super easy to make and tasted SO good. I put chopped pecans in my husband's and he wanted me to make another batch just for him. Very light and tender and perfect flavor!
Very tasty and light - perfect for hot nights. My kids love it and I can get all these veggies in them at once! I decreased the amount of most ingredients for a smaller batch. Very pretty - a good one to take to potlucks!
I am from New England and have never even eaten a funnel cake before - never heard of them until I saw them on The Food Network. My kids and I had so much fun making these and my 2 year old was actually on the floor crying waiting for the second batch to finish! I added a splash of vanilla, and cut down the flour as other reveiwers suggested. I don't have anything to compare these to, but they were FABULOUS.
Incredibly good - very light and tasty. I followed the recipe as is except I used 2 small shallots in place of onion. My 5 yo daughter and I could not stop eating the stuff long enough to get it in the fridge to marinate! I plan to use this dressing for cucumbers too - I think it will be great.
I made this to accompany a cook out meal I prepared for guests (kind of something else to just add to the table) but everyone loved it more than the meal and they wanted more and more! Even the kids liked it. Perfect for those summer nights when you don't want to heat up the kitchen! Can't wait to make more.
We all love lasagna, but I seldom make it because of all the work involved. I threw this together in no time! I didn't have Velveeta so I used slices of Kraft singles. (even easier!) I also added dollops of ricotta in each cheese layer. My three kids loved it and husband ate so much he couldn't move.
I am a die hard broiled haddock fan because baked haddock always seems dry - but this is my new go-to haddock recipe. Made 4 pieces and between dh & I - there were NO leftovers. Delish!
The only change I made was adding a dollop of cream cheese as suggested by several posters. Delicious!
Not only did my kids and hubby love this, I sent a pan in for a teachers' breakfast and got lots of compliments and requests for the recipe!
This is the only recipe I use for roasting chicken now - and I have tried SO many recipes! Makes an incredible soup after too! The flavor is right on.
Oh so good. I run a daycare and the kids like this so much better than maple syrup. Pancakes and french toast are such an inexpensive meal and the kids LOVE them with this sauce.
