Italian Confetti Pasta Salad

This is delicous but the amount of mayo is enough for a 16 oz box of pasta. I added pepperoni and fresh mozerella. Make sure you use fresh basil. You can grow it in the summer in a pot anywhere in the USA and/or get it at almost any grocery store.

This sauce is great marinade for chicken and pork. It is a fantastic use of habaneros. I give bottles of this to my friends and they rave about it. I am making 4 batches of it today because I picked the rest of my peppers last night before our first frost.

Bob's Stuffed Banana Peppers

This is a great website to find recipes that are relatively easy to make. There is no way you would ever use 2 pounds of meat to fill 8 banana peppers. I filled 24 and it was still too much meat and I should have cut it in half like suggested in other reviews. I used half lean hamburger and half hot sausage. There is too much salt in the recipe should be about 1/2 of what it calls for. It helps to fill the peppers if you cut a small portion off the tips. My husband loved them and it was a great way to use our banana peppers. I will make this each year when the peppers are ready to pick.

This is absolutely delicious and easy to make. I used a pound of linguini, 1/2 cup of wine, a 14.5 oz can of chicken broth, 2 pounds of frozen shrimp de-thawed, and pepper to taste. It makes 8 normal size servings or 4 large pasta bowl servings. It makes excellent left overs that can be heated in the micowave. Makes sure to use fresh lemon, basil, and parsley.

I took a 1/2 day off of work and made this and the Tilapia with Mango Salsa. It is absolutely delcious upon first tasting it. I did not alter the recipe and think the fresh herbs make this recipe. I can't wait to see what hubby thinks about it at dinner tonight.

This is delicious my husband could not stop talking about how good it tasted. I wanted to make it that day so I used 4 cans of red kidney beans vs the dried beans. I used 3/4 chicken broth and 1/4 water. I did not omit any ingredients and added the andouille sausage the last hour of cooking. When I made the rice I used chicken broth instead of water. I would definitly make this again and recommend this recipe.

I also read all of the reviews before making this. I used orange juice instead of water and 1 Cup of Sugar. I ground the nutmeg myself because it is much better than using the kind that comes ground. This was excellent with the turkey and incredible with the rolls. My husband wants me to make this every year now.

Cranberry Orange Loaf

I was thrilled to see this recipe featured on the front page of your web site the week of Christmas. I wanted to make something lighter for Christmas breakfast and this was perfect. Like others I chopped the cranberries, used butter instead of margeine, added 1 teaspoon of orange extract and then I made a glaze from powdered sugar, orange juice, and vanialla extract. This is not too tart or dry with the glaze and chopping the cranberries.

I have made this for a couple years now. It is outstanding and deserves more stars. I do not omit any ingredients, use McCormicks dried lemon grass and soak in warm water for 20-30 minutes before chopping, and do use fresh mint and basil. I marinate the meat 24-48 hours, bring up to room temparature before cooking and cook medium rare, let it rest a few minutes and slice very thin and serve with fried rice or a salad with some type of Asian dressing. It makes great left overs for steak salad or steak sandwhiches. I have made it for house geusts a few times and everyone raves about the taste and how tender the meat is.

Potato Salmon Patties

This is easy and delicious! I use panko bread crumbs in place of the regular,a big sqeeze of fresh lemon, a sprinkle of Old Bay, a couple squirts of hot sauce, garlic salt, and chop a half of onion and sauté in butter or olive oil before adding to salmon, and roll the patties in Panko bread crumbs before cooking. I make curried rice and creamed peas to go with it. 1/2 cup of potatoes and 1/2 cup of bread crumbs is too much, stick 1/4 cup each.
