Eggless Mayonnaise
I wanted to share this recipe.
Apple Dip
This was a childhood memory that I was craving, so I called my nanny and she gave the recipe to me. The second I tasted it, I was flushed with happy thoughts. It tastes like caramel! Enjoy with slices of apples for a healthy snack! Be creative: You can add peanut butter, nuts or chocolate sauce, or try using strawberry flavored cream cheese. Have fun and enjoy!
Best Carolina BBQ Meat Sauce
I can't take all the credit for this Carolina-style BBQ sauce recipe. I had to search, snoop, and experiment to get it right. (Thanks Big Daddy's!) I've had barbeque in some of the best little places in the Carolinas, and this stuff rules there! It's fantastic on pork, or try brushing some on chicken as it finishes on the grill. Use fresh ground peppers for the best flavor. This keeps in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks.
Pesto
A simple, quick recipe for basic pesto with basil, pine nuts, and parsley.

Refrigerator Pickles
This recipe was given to me by my late mother-in-law and makes use of the abundant summertime supply of cucumbers. A neighbor recently presented me with four five gallon buckets of cucumbers from his garden and I made pickles for the whole neighborhood. They will also stay fresh in the refrigerator for 2 1/2 to 3 weeks.
Sweet Pickle Relish
This chunky relish is great for eating fresh or going into the pantry in the middle of winter cracking open a jar and putting on your hotdogs! Also great to add to macaroni salad!
Cucumber Raita
Serve this cool, refreshing salad with my Lamb Tagine and Moroccan Couscous on this site. Make the salad early in the day and keep in the refrigerator to let the flavors blend and intensify. Add more mint to taste, but do not substitute dried mint; the flavor is just not the same.
