Instant Pot® Short Ribs
It's easy to love fall-off-the-bone short ribs. The only problem with a traditional braising recipe is that it will be hours before eating happens. Make short ribs in an electric pressure cooker and eat these in half the time. The pressure inside the cooker transforms any liquid into hot steam, which goes deep into the meat and produce far more tender ribs than any other method would make. Less time and better? You bet.
Pot Roast in Foil
The best, no fail way to cook a roast. I give this recipe to all new brides, and they and their new husbands love it!! You can add cubed potatoes and sliced carrots to the roast before sealing it in foil, but I like to serve it over mashed potatoes and gravy. Also, you could substitute using a four pound bone-in roast.
Rump Roast au Jus
This is a wonderful way to cook a 4- to 5-pound rump roast in the slow cooker. The seasoning creates a wonderful juice while it cooks. Serve the juice over individual servings of beef.
Roast Beef with Coffee
Pot roast cooked in coffee may sound strange, but don't pass it up — it's wonderful! Serve with mashed potatoes.
Spicy Tuna Fish Cakes
Who needs crab and a deep fryer to enjoy these tasty delights? Tuna works great and a light pan searing does the job of cooking up this tasty treat without all the fat! Serve with hot sauce or mayonnaise.
Pork Loin, Apples, and Sauerkraut
Pork and sauerkraut is the traditional New Year's Day meal here in Pennsylvania Dutch Land. This is my rendition of that holiday meal. I usually serve it with mashed potatoes and applesauce.
Fiery Dragon Stir-Fry
This is a satisfying one-dish meal that's easy to put together and customizable according to your pantry contents and dietary needs.
