A French Canadian meat pie usually served Christmas Eve, this pie has a lightly spiced and herbed pork filling with a pastry crust.
This recipe was given to me as part of a bridal shower gift. My husband loves meat and pies, so he was practically in heaven when I made this for him! I have also used a refrigerated pie crust and it is just as good. Originally submitted to PieRecipe.com.
Beef Stew II
This stew is a meal unto itself, very hearty and flavorful. This recipe calls for various spices, you may have some of your own favorites to throw in.
This recipe is very similar to a chicken dish served at a local well-known restaurant. A friend of mine was kind enough to share it. It includes chicken breasts topped with mushrooms, bacon and cheese cooked in a honey-mustard sauce.
Chicken Noodle Soup II
This is good on a cold winter night or when you have a cold. In order to make this just right you need to make the noodles ahead of time so that they can dry before putting them in the soup. You can make them the night before and store in an air tight container and place in the freezer.
Roast Beef Cheddar Pockets
These cheesy beef and cheese pockets are a breeze to assemble, and sure to hit the spot. This recipe by Debbie Eynon of Texas was a winner in the 2001 National Beef Cook-Off.

Awesome Roast Beef
This rump roast in mushroom soup and beef broth is tender and very moist. It's made in the slow cooker, and is very easy to make. Raw vegetables, such as carrots and potatoes, may be added at the start of the cooking time, if desired. My whole family loves this recipe. The leftovers also make great roast beef sandwiches.
