Sooooo good, the best pumpkin pie I've ever made. I've been trying to find a great pumpkin pie recipe, and I think this is it. Family loved it as well. I took reviewers' advice and decreased the sugar to about 1/3 cup and it came out perfect!!
very creamy and delicious!! everyone i served it to loved it and people have been asking me for the recipe constantly. UPDATE: i made this with lemon pudding and some grated lemon and topped it with strawberries for a party EVERYONE loved it! this cheesecake recipe makes for a very creamy consistancy and it is one of the best recipes that i've gotten from this site.

This was very good. I didn't double the spices like other reviewers suggested because I wanted a milder flavor. I put it in a bundt pan and topped it with cream cheese frosting from this site and sprinkled the top with cinnamon for presentation. UPDATE: I made this again but doubled the spice and replaced half the fat with applesauce and everyone liked it this way better.
Delicious salad!! I usually don't like vegetables or salad, but I ate this salad every day for lunch until it was gone. Will def. make again. UPDATE: I always buy rotisserie chicken and crumbled gorgonzola cheese from the grocery store so that I can put this salad together quickly. I also use home-made ranch dressing II (from this site) and it makes this salad even better.

I really liked this recipe for apple pie--I was afraid that it was too easy to be true, but it turned out really delicious. I used apple juice instead of water and added 1 tsp. each of cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract to the sauce. DELICIOUS!! UPDATE: I recently tried this recipe with pears except I added only ginger and cinnamon to the sauce recipe..equally delicious. I've also made mini pies/tartlets from this recipe and those are wonderful too.
Great recipe! I used a slightly different method: beat softened cream cheese with vanilla until smooth, then add softened butter a little at time, beating until smooth. Finally, add powdered sugar to taste (I usually use less than called for). I found this method to give the best consistency. I've used this frosting on sam's carrot cake and pumpkin gingerbread (both from this site) with great results!
This crust tastes really good--I couldn't stop picking at it when the pie came out of the oven. However, it is really too salty for sweet pies as the other reviewers have mentioned (I made Grandma Ople's Apple Pie from this site, but I brushed the crust with a butter/sugar/cinnamon mixture to make it more sweet).
ummm, sorry to say that this cake disappointed me. i've made plenty of chocolate cakes (many of them from this site) and this isn't a recipe that i'm going to keep. it lacks in chocolate flavor and if i hadn't topped it with chocolate ganche, my family wouldn't have eaten it.
