My best friend and I made this recipe tonight and she thought it was great. It was a little sour for her, so we added some sugar (aprox 2 tbsp). We also used whole frozen strawberies with 1 cup of water and it still came out well.
Good, but not a great hit with the family. We used Country Time lemonade and used four cups of water, 2 cups of ice (to chill it more)
Definitely an AWESOME lasagna! I've made this several times, and is a great recipe that kids can help make. I have also included chopped onions while cooking my meat and it tastes great.
I wasn't sure how this was going to turn out, but it came out perfectly for our morning breakfast. We didn't have any ice, but it still tasted great. Without ice, it was a little sweeter, so adjust accordingly. I used an oil/water strainer to reduce the amount of pulp, which helped a lot.
This was too liquid-y for some, so I added extra ice-cream to compensate (and hide the vanilla extract taste)
I only had a frozen, sugar-added 16oz strawberry package, so I should have added more ice/water to compensate for how sweet it came out...otherwise, a great, simple recipe.
a simple, yet delicious recipe for croutons. i added olive oil as others suggested so the butter and olive oil were a 3:1/4:1 ratio. i also utilized a garlic mincer, which helped a lot because the garlic did not burn in the oven. a big fan of garlic, i used both garlic and mccormick garlic salt to get the full garlic taste. i made this twice, and made sure to mix the bread in the pan very quickly otherwise the bread gets saturated and too salty. for "perfect cut" croutons, put the bread in the fridge the night before, and the outcome is perfectly square bread cubes that are much easier to cut
very good, easy, basic recipe that worked well in my food processor. the garlic overpowered the avocado, so luckily I had an extra one on hand that I could add. I also used half a small onion and half the lime. Next time, I will definitely try cilantro.
:( I was disappointed with how these turned out after reading all the positive reviews. Having baked a lot in the past, these just weren't the same as the recipe I've always used for chocolate chip cookies. I was a little worried with the consistency as I was making it due to the amount of butter and there are definitely bites that make me think I'm eating a butter cookie. Even my brother (who didn't watch me make the cookies) said "too much butter." The vanilla is also a bit much. Everyone in my family agreed I should stick to our old recipe.
Wow! This were great just out of the oven - it had a nice crispy top, moist (definitely take the suggestion of 1 cup of milk for cupcakes) and easy to make!
