A nice twist on the normal Chocolate Chip cookie
Preheat oven to 350. Cover baking sheets with parchment paper or or spray with cooking spray.
Place oats in blender or food processor and process until finely ground. Combine ground oats, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in bowl.
In another bowl, cream butter, sugars, vanilla and lemon juice. Add eggs one at time and beat until fluffy.
Stir flour mixture into egg mixture and blend well. Add chips and nuts and blend well. Drop round balls of cookie dough on sheet and bake.
Bake until cookies are lightly browned - 16-18 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to cool. Store in sealed container to keep soft and chewy.
