Kiki's Spiced Habanero Peach Jam
I developed this recipe when I was low on funds one Holiday Season and needed an inexpensive gift for family and friends. I now make several batches every years at several peoples request. It has become a huge hit at bake sales as well. Don't be afraid of the fact that it has habanero peppers in the recipe. The heat is very subtle and just adds to the flavor of the jam. It's also great spread over a block of cream cheese served with crackers for an easy appetizer for parties. Try it instead of sugar in your baked bean recipe and you will not be disappinted.

Helga's Russian Borscht
We have a neighbor named Helga whose parents are from Russia. One day my husband and I were invited to dinner. My husband is a picky eater, but loves this dish made with beef instead of lamb. I think it's wonderful either way.

Spicy Indian Chicken & Mango Curry
I love Indian food, this recipe developed after falling in love with the dish at a small family owned Indian restaurant near my home. After tweeking a few things, I think I have come up with a great copy-cat version. The curry paste can easily be subsituted with the mild version for those with more sensative palates. I hope it meets your liking. Enjoy!
Old Mexico Chicken Mole
This recipe is very close to my departed grandmother's recipe. Since she didn't write her recipes down, I have found myself experimenting to duplicate most of them. My family says this is the best they have had since Grandma passed. I couldn't receive a better compliment. I hope your family enjoys it too.

Dragon's Breathe Grilled Salmon
I came up with this recipe for my Husband's boss who can not get enough "heat" or garlic in his food. He still requests this dish often, according to this wife. Warning: I would not recommend this recipe for a first date or a romantic evening. You will love it if you love garlic and very spicy food. It's also very good on french bread for a spicy garlic bread alternative.
Kiki's Cold or Hot Clam Dip
I had been making this clam dip for years when my mother threw me an engagement party. I made this dip and my new brother-in law, who hates seafood, tasted it without knowing what was in it. When I told him, he was shocked and now hunts for it on the appetizer table at every party I have. It is wonderful cold or warm, but must be refrigerated overnight either way for the flavors to really pop. Enjoy!!

Daddy's "If They'da had This at the Alamo we would'ha WON!" Texas Chili
My Daddy, "born and bred" in Texas came up with this recipe and the name for it. It took some convincing, but I got him to allow me to share the recipe. We love it and hope you do to. Enjoy!!

Kiki's Sweet & Spicy Marinated Shrimp
I developed this recipe because I love sweet and spicy and I love shrimp. I serve this at every party I host and have learned to have copies of the recipe handy. I hope it finds a place in your favorite appetizer recipe box as well. Enjoy!!

Texas Christmas Pickles
These spicy/sweet pickles are a Texas tradition. My mother and I have made these delectible pickles for Christmas every year since I was young. We seperate each batch into smaller jars and give them as gifts to friends and family. I would hate to think what would happen if we skipped a year!!

Kiki's Borracho (Drunken) Beans
Growing up, my mexican grandmother, always had a pot of beans cooking on the stove. I often cook these beans (a "drunken" version) for my family and the aroma keeps her close to my soul, even years after she has past. I hope your family enjoys them as much as mine.
