I found another recipe similar to this because this recipe called for too much sugar. Believe it or not the recipe I found: 3/4 sugar & 3/4 brown sugar was also too much. The faint chocolate taste was there as well but the peanut butter taste was definitely there. Next time I make these I will double up on the peanut butter, peanut butter cups, peanut butter chips, and cocoa powder and lessen the sugar. I also chilled the cookie dough for about two hours and just flattened them down with a spoon while they were hot.

Just like others have said, these cookies fell apart once I tried to cut them. I left these in the fridge for longer than 24 hours and they still crumbled when I tried to cut them. Since I only had True Orange packets which each packet is equivalent to a wedge and used about 10, there was no orange flavor. I also think I got carried away with the Crisco butter shortening. Other than that these were OK. If I make these again I will look for the other shortbread recipe that I did that came out better than these.

I keep making these over and over and over!!! I've also mastered getting 6-8 pancakes out of this in order for me to have a good breakfast for a few days. Even reheating them taste like they were just made!

OK, so I thought all purpose flour had the same capacity as self-rising flour and I was wrong. This pancake was flat and greasy. It had no taste to it at all and I even added sugar & cinnamon to it. It just taste like solidified flour. Next time I won't be so lazy and just make the other buttermilk version instead.

I'm like one reviewer who stated that something was missing. I realized it's too watery and the cumin-which I like-over powered the taste so I added a tsp of truffle sea salt and that corn starch base...I forget what it's called but you add a few tablespoons of corn starch and water and pour it in the soup. Also 2 cans of beans isn't enough. Depending on how many will eat this 3 cans should be enough.
