This is absolutely amazing. I made it for dinner last night to test it and see if it really would be a good dinner party centerpiece. There's no question about it - it is easy and absolutely yummy. if there were a rating higher than 5 stars, i'd give it that! Thank you BILL!

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

I have been making this recipe ever since i saw it in Ina Gartner's Barefoot Contessa recipe book. It is simple, healthy and delicious. Every time I've served it to guests it becomes the way they prepare brussel sprouts from here on out! The key is to not fear the deep brown color (they're still bright and moist on the inside) and to use lots of olive oil and sea salt.

very good - a cross between chili, stew and soup! i used the diced tomato with jalapeno and used a few more spices - other than that, followed this to the "t" -- will definitely make again! A perfect cold weather supper.

Rockin' Oysters Rockefeller

simply amazing....easy to make and the hit of the party....even for the guest who'd never before tried an oyster (and who ate most of them after taking that brave first step!) As a cook i was always tentative about making oysters -- that hesitation is gone!

Herbed Rice and Spicy Black Bean Salad

this is excellent as is - perfect side dish for a bbq....such as the grilled tilapia with mango salsa. Cool and yummy.

Garlic Salmon

absolutely excellent. made it for a dinner party and got rave reviews. followed another reviewer's suggestion and made a dill cream sauce to set the salmon on - amazing. also followed her advice to add a few dabs of butter and a splash of wine to each packet to increase the steam factor (as she did, I put each in individual foil packets)

Virginia Apple Pudding

easy and superb. Definitely spread the apples out. And serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or yogurt. Will make again and again
