Cheeseburger Meatloaf

A very good recipe although I made a couple of changes. I added onion soup mix instead of the salt and pepper. Also, I stirred in cubed fontina cheese instead of cheddar, which I find rather greasy. This meatloaf is great the next day in sandwiches.

Quick and Easy Mexican Chicken

An excellent recipe I serve over brown rice cooked with chicken boullion. If I don't have a lot of time to fuss in the kitchen, I slice each chicken breast in half width-wise, sprinkle with cumin and pepper and place in the baking dish (without frying first) with the salsa and cheese. It then takes about 35 minutes to bake, which leaves me free to do other things before dinner.

Best Spinach Dip Ever

My husband is not a fan of spinach dip, but he liked this one (probably because it doesn't have a lot of spinach in it). I used Knorr herb soup mix instead of leek, and aioli instead of plain mayo.

Bagel and Cheese Bake

This was a huge hit! After reading other reviews, I made a couple of changes. I used cheddar and herb bagels instead of plain and added sliced mushrooms with the bacon and onion. Also, I didn't have any parmesan, so I just topped it with more cheddar before baking.

These were nice and light. We're not big icing fans so we left it off, but there wasn't enough sugar in the dough for our taste. I'll definately make them again and just add more sugar. I was making this for breakfast, so I prepared it the night before and left it in the bundt pan to rise overnight in the fridge, covered in plastic wrap.

Chocolate Wave Zucchini Bread

I've made this several times now and it's always nice and moist. I prefer to put the chocolate chips in the white side. Since I never seem to have pumpkin pie spice, I use cinnamon or nutmeg. Once I tried doubling the recipe. It turned out, but doubling the sugar was a bad idea - it was way too sweet.

Cheeseburger Noodle Casserole

I made this with broad egg noodles instead of spaghetti. It definately didn't need the extra salt since the onion soup mix is already salty. It seemed to be missing something. I didn't have any garlic powder, so perhaps that's it. My husband liked it, so perhaps I'll try it again andmake sure to put in some garlic.

Easy Tuna Casserole

With the arrival of our son, I'm always looking for easy recipes. We've tried this a few times and these are our final changes: broad egg noodles instead of pasta, cream of mushroom soup instead of chicken, add 2 tins of tuna and 1/2 soup tin of milk (as per other reviewers), and add 1.5 cups of frozen mixed veggies. My husband firmly believes the onions make the recipe.

I cut this recipe in half when I make it. The first time I made it, I followed the recipe exactly and found that the sour cream over-powered the dish. I made it again and substituted 1 can of cream of mushroom and onion soup for the sour cream. We liked it much better this way.

This recipe is wonderful! Like another reviewer, I used milk and sugar instead of condensed milk. This is going to become a weekend staple in our home.

Chili Casserole

This recipe is so mch better than I expected. I made a few changes: I cooked the ground beef with taco seasoning rather than using taco sauce, I omitted the celery, used chili with beans, and used frozen corn rather than tinned. Very hearty!

This recipe sounded good, but I was really disapponted. I used a shredded cheese blend and added some salt and pepper, but it was just too bland and really dry.
