This recipe has a lot of potential. It is a simple and filling vegetarian dish. I only used half an onion and added mushrooms and a couple cloves of fresh, minced garlic while tossing the vegetables with olive oil and it came out pretty good. I used the parmesan cheese, but think I will try mozzarella next time.
This is AWESOME! This is the closest thing I've been able to find to the chicken piccata at Cheesecake Factory which is my fave! I stuck to the recipe as a whole except for using chicken cutlets to save time on cooking and I did put flour on mine before seasoning them. Definitely double maybe even triple the whipping cream. I doubled it but could have used even more sauce to serve with thin spaghetti on the side. Oh - I also added mushrooms b/c that is what is in piccata and I had some to use. I sauteed them in a separate pan and just threw them on top of the chicken. YUM YUM YUM! Thanks!!!
I made it exactly as is and liked it overall, but something was really spicy, the fresh garlic maybe? It seemed to overpower everything else. I will try this again, but think I will try garlic powder instead of minced fresh garlic.
Made it as suggested except did regular pork sausage and half the cheese for lactose intolerant spoise. I thought it was kind of dry but I am not a big fan of hash browns. Others in family liked it with ketchup on top.
This was super easy and super yummy! I made it as is...but I would say that unless you get a bite with apples or raisins, it isn't as sweet as you might expect. I didn't mind that, but maybe some would like to drizzle honey or syrup over it? Will definitely make again!!
I made recipe exactly as is. Am I only one who had the butter and sugar mixture leak out of bundt pan?? Had that not happened, I think it would have been better - middle pieces didn't have much flavor bc it seemed like it all leaked out. Also, top was kind of hard and I had to cook it long enough for inside to be done.
