This recipe was wonderful. I had to make a few exceptions. I only used provolone (no mozzarella or Parmesan). Since it was blazing hot and not appropriate to heat up the oven, I warmed up our portions in the microwave. Delicious.
I don't really care for this recipe. I might try it once more and use chicken breasts as someone suggested.
This recipe was delicious. I used store bought banana bread. Everyone at our brunch loved it.
I love this recipe. It was easy to folow and it was delicious. I wouldn't change a thing.
I absolutely did not like this recipe. It had such a weird taste, perhaps from the evaporated milk. My husband and my father weren't impressed either.
I started making this bread and I put all the sugar in the bowl. Talk about an eye opener. I couldn't in good conscience serve this to anyone. This recipe has way too much sugar. I chose a healthier bread.
This was fine. But it wasn't fantastic. I followed the recipe, but I did add a second can of jalapeno peppers since some reviewers mentioned this dish needed more spice. If I make it again I will cut the mayo by half.
This recipe turned out great. After baking the cake, I made holes in it with a straw as was suggested. Instead of using 1 c. of hot/cold water with the gelatin, I only added 1/2 c. each. I used a mini funnel and poured small amounts of the gelatin mixture into all the holes of the cake. Since some mentioned the cake being soggy, I didn't add all of the liquid, but at least 3/4. For the frosting, I didn't add any gelatin because of the metallic taste others had noticed, but I did put in the juice of one large lemon. Perfect. I'm going to make this again for a potluck in May when we'll need something light and cool.
