Ziti with Italian Sausage

This recipe was okay. Tasted great, but I had to make a few revisions. I added an extra can of tomato sauce to have enough sauce. I also added some provolone cheese between the layers.

Great recipe! Makes enough to feed a large family. I made a few changes & it turned out delicious. I did not have Provolone cheese on hand so I substituted for sliced Swiss cheese. I omited the sour cream and just sprinkled the layer of swiss cheese with some Romano cheese. Yummy! The holes in the Swiss cheese also allowed for the tomato sauce mixture to get down to the noodles.

I made these for my mother-in-law's suprise 60th birthday party and they were a huge hit! Very easy to make. To make it even simpler - I used ready-cooked bacon and just heated them in the mircowave for 45 seconds to cook them a little more. I chopped them up really fine. I added all the egg mixture to a gallon size ziplock bag and snipped off one corner. I then piped it into the cooked eggs and threw away the bag at the end for easy cleanup.

I have make this recipe several times exactly as the recipe calls for & it was wonderful. This time I substitued yogurt for the sour cream and vanilla pudding for the chocolate pudding because that is what I had on hand. Turned out just as good!!!
