Old-Fashioned Three Bean Salad

Very tasty, I used splenda instead of sugar, making it diabetic friendly. I also added 1 can whole kernal corn (drained) 1 can peas, (drained). I choped my onion instead of in rings. I increased the amounts of oil, splenda and vinegar because of adding the extra canned vegetables. We love this salad, goes great with the slow cooker roast beef recipe I have posted here on allrecipes.com. Thanks for the great recipe. One other time I made it, I added chopped celery AND a small jar of pimento's. Really colorful.

I also make these, but cut the bacon into 3rd's, then wrap the chestnuts and secure with a toothpick. THEN bake them until done, and drain all the grease. Just before the guests arrive, I pour our favorite bbq sauce on them and bake again until the bbq sauce is a little sticky. Enjoy!

I followed the recipe precisely. Turned out nice...I had to bake it longer than the recipe said. I thought it was pretty tasty.. husband isn't real fond of any breakfast casserole, so I can't go by his comments. He ate it.... I will make this again! Thanks for the recipe!

Apple Cake VII

This is a wonderful tasting cake. Nice and moist, just the right sweetness.. does not really need powdered sugar sprinkled on it. Expect a heavy bundt cake.....but extremely delicious. Hubby loved it. I will definitely be making this cake again. Oh and I added about 1/2 cup of raisins, and 1 cup chopped walnuts. mmmm mmmm good!

Banana Cream Pie V

absolutely THE BEST BANANA CREAM PIE EVER!!! I decided to use splenda instead of sugar...1 cup. I stirred it while cooking with my wire whisk...cooking until very thick. I also used 2 bananas, one layer over the bottom of the pie, then half the custard filling, one more banana and then the rest of the filling. The meringue, I added a pinch of baking powder along with the cream of tartar, it kept it from shrinking away from the edge (something I"ve always had problems with). I used the regular sugar for the meringue. I will most definitely make this pie again, thank you for a wonderful recipe!!! I have also used just coolwhip on the top of this pie after cooled or when serving. Absolutely delicious!

cake has good flavor, but turned out more like a banana bread, top got hard.. I can say I'm not overly impressed. However, husband thinks it's great, so will probably make it again.

Easy Peach Cobbler with Cake Mix

I made this recipe only used Splenda in place of the sugar, cutting the calorie count some. I added 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water. I also added a Tablespoon of minute tapioca, and it was still somewhat watery consistency. I also added chopped pecans and coconut over the peaches before putting the topping on. I mixed the cream cheese with the cake mix till crumbly, and it worked great to do that. It turned out beautiful and very tasty, now I am wishing I added the pecans to the topping instead of sprinkling over the peaches... will do that next time. I am thinking I will use cornstarch with the water/sugar mixture next time too. Delicious, the topping is awesome.... add some pecans and it will be DELIGHTFUL!! Thanks for a great recipe!

I used brown sugar splenda, and Mrs. buttersworth sugar free pancake syrup in place of white syrup. It turned out FANTASTIC! Not quite as sicky sweet as a real pecan pie...but a real hit with everyone in the family! THANK YOU for this recipe!

G's Flank Steak Marinade

I used this recipe on a piece of Sirloin tip cut into kabob size chunks, marinaded it for approximately 6 hours. Absolutely delicious after skewered with my veggies and grilled. This is definitely a keeper! Only thing is next time I will save a little of the marinade (save before mixing with the beef) for basting. I had to resort to another recipe, soysauce, brown sugar, all spice and water to keep everything moist. DELICIOUS! Thanks for a great recipe, we LOVE to make kabobs!

If I could give this 20 stars I definitely would! AWESOME FLAVOR! I marinated my sirloin tip steaks which I had cut up into chunks for about 6 hours. Skewered the meat with vegetables and lil smokies. YUMM! I made the mistake of not reserving some of the marinade for basting tho, had to resort to another recipe to baste while cooking. next time I will save some of the marinade before I add my meat to soak and use that as basting sauce. YUMM, WE LOVE KABOBS PREPARED THIS WAY! THANKS FOR THE RECIPE!!!
