Fabulous cake. It’s the one I go to every time I’m making an orange batter sponge. I use the same ingredients but substitute the orange juice for lemon juice to make a lemon batter. Really fabulous.
Fabulous. Add a splash of aromatic bitters. Gives it a perfect finish.

I made this cake gluten free and it was fabulous. At first, I thought it was a lot of liquid for 1 cake, but I was wrong. It was the perfect amount. I will certainly make this again with all purpose flour next time.
