MISSCANADA

31 year old mom of 4 month old twin boys, Matthew and Nicolas. They have very particular taste and I find myself on here daily gathering recipes that I can make quickly and make the whole family happy. It's not easy to work all day get home at 5:30 and serve dinner by 6:00, some days a half an hour is all you've got. And with two screaming toddlers at your ankles the slow cooker is my best friend. I love comming home to a home made roast beef with veggies all ready to go.

this cake turned out wonderfully! I was a bit hesitant about the batter as it was so thick but it turned out to be a wonderfully light, fluffy perfect cake! I did the strawberries and it was just great! Thank you so much for this recipe I'll make it again and again!

I adjusted this recipe a little. I used the meat recipe as it is shown but I didn't use the sauce suggested, I used a bottle to Diana's BBQ sauce and I put the sauce with 1 cup of water into a pressure cooker as I don't have a slow cooker, 15 minutes in there and they were a hit at my party, 9 people took your recipe! I will make these every chance I get as they make ME look good! Thanks so much for this recipe.

This recipe was a smash hit all of my boyfriends friends think I'm the best girlfriend in the world. Great dip, I left off the lettuce but followed the recipe to a T and it's just great!

So simple but OH SO GOOD! I use this recipe every time I bake a pie, it's been 4 months or so, and 12 pies or so. :) It's great with sweet pie like fruit pies or meal pies like meat pie or quiche. It's flakey wonderful even if you're a first time pastry maker. Thanks for this recipe.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

I followed this recipe as it's written, and it came out aweful for me. And unfortunately it was for my first thanksgiving dinner. The granny smith apples didn't bake up well at all they were too firm, that sauce that made me standoffish about this recipe wasn't tradional apple pie I was going for, it was caramelly, and there was no cinnamon. My guest ate it and pretending to like it, but I ate one bit and that was enough for this cook.

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Simply delicious! My family at the whole batch in one shot! I'll have to double this recipe in the future, they're just as it says, crisp on the outside and chewy in side. I made these by hand, and seeing as to how it was my first bread making experience this recipe is for anyone who would like to impress. Thank you for this recipe.

Holiday Punch I

Over all this was a great punch, I didn't pay enough attention to the portion size though and in the future I'd make it a half recipe. Thank goodness I have a large punch bowl. I also doubled the orange juice as I found it too gingerale-y for me. I floated sliced or oranges and frozen pineapple and strawberries in it to keep it cold instead of ice, keep your punch from getting watered down. Good punch recipe I'll use it again.

The BEST!! I'll never use another banana bread recipe! Comes out banana-y, rises beautifully, golden colour, great texture, honestly the best banana bread ever! Makes a great gift at the holidays, trust me I've done it. :) Sells wonderfully at bake sales...done that too. :)

They were too floury tasting even after putting jam on them, they did rise nicely but tasted alot like the baking powder. Definately not the one for me.

To add to this recipe, feel free to add as many vegitables as you'd like, peas are a nice addition, some people add turnips...to your own taste, this recipe as it is, is a good base beef stew recipe to be adjusted to your tastes.

Very sweet sugar cookie, turned out exactly as the recipe says, they were soft centered with crisp edges. Personally I didn't find they were cinnamon tasting at all, next time I may add more cinnamon to the mix or even just roll them in coloured sugar for the holidays and skip the whole cinnamon idea.

Moist, delicious, quick and easy. For a fast simple meal during a week night this recipe is the best. Yet it's still fancy enough to impress my boyfriend into thinking I'd been cooking for 2 hours.
