Sarah Dipity

I've been a "lacto-ovo" vegetarian (I eat dairy and eggs but NO meat) for over 20+ years. I like to figure out ways to convert traditional "meat" meals into vegetarian meals.

Spicy Vegetarian Summer Sausage (Seitan)

This vegetarian "sausage" has a similar texture and flavor to a hard salami/summer sausage. It's a seasoned seitan log made with wheat gluten. You can usually find vital wheat gluten "flour" in the bulk section of whole foods grocery stores. I like to cut it into slices and serve it on butter crackers with slices of cheese. You can also use it in sandwiches or cut it up to use in other recipes that call for meat.

Sarah’s Thanksgiving Stuffing

I did a lot of research on baking/preparation techniques and ingredients in stuffing and this is what I came up with. It is my best stuffing recipe to-date and everybody who tried it complimented it with praise. This recipe is also vegetarian-friendly.

Sarah's Eggless Tofu Salad

Eggless tofu salad that tastes freakishly similar to its eggy counterpart. The black salt gives it the distinctive eggy sulfur flavor. Black salt can be found in many Asian and Indian grocery stores. Substitute regular table salt for the black salt if you don't have it (probably use less).
