I brushed the eggplant with a little olive oil & topped with shredded mozerella. Excellent!

Good recipe! I used raisins instead of walnuts, and added more cinnamon & nutmeg. My dad is gluten intolerant so I substituted buckwheat flour for the regular flour. It turned out very good!

Dark Carrot Raisin Muffins

Hmm. I modified these & they were not so great. I thought I had wheat flour but didn't so used half regular & half sorghum flour. I then expected a more cake-like muffin & got it. I also used the bagged shredded carrots, about which I was conflicted, and I was right: they needed to be shred finer. Several reviewers stated that they stick to the pan so I used paper muffin cups, and they stuck to those also. I will not make again.

Caramel Popcorn

I took the tips of all the other reviewers--half the butter, spray the pan & utensils, etc. The only thing I disagree with is adding the nuts later. They didn't get incorporated with the popcorn. I have a stomach ache from eating so much--I couldn't stop!

Polish Cabbage Noodles

My mom always made this. I was searching recipes because I was sure there was more to cabbage & noodles than these few ingredients. But this is it! I made too much, so after my third day of leftovers I threw in some sour cream after I reheated it. It was wonderful!

Cottage Cheese Potatoes

I located this recipe using the "ingredients" tab since I was low on everything. I skipped the sour cream since I didnt have any and since it appeared it made the dish too thin. I quartered some cherry tomatoes and used onion powder instead of onions. I sprinkled some Bac-os on top and the end & turned on the broiler. It was a little thin but as another reviewer suggested, I let it stand. My dad, who hates my cooking, asked for some to take home.

Squash with Tomato and Feta Cheese

The cream isn't necessary--milk works fine! I only had cherry tomatoes so I halved them and put them all across the top. It looked really pretty. This would be great to serve at Thanksgiving or Christmas.

This is way too thin to be called "syrup", even though I followed another reviewer's advice & added cornstarch.

Speed it up by increasing heat to 375 and stirring the pan after 30 minutes. Cuts the cooking time to 1 hour. Otherwise, excellent recipe!

Artichoke Pie

I never follow the recipe exactly, but used this as a guideline. I did not use a crust. Non-marinated artichokes work fine. I added milk as suggested. Served as an appetizer, I cut this into little squares and my guests gobbled it down.

Portobello Mushroom Stroganoff

Very good recipe. I used a lot more onions which I think gave it a good flavor, and a lot less sour cream.
