I gave it only 3 stars because the chicken was fairly bland. Everyone ate it, but I don't think they will be asking for it to reappear on the menu soon.
This was very easy and quick to prepare. My whole family loved it!!
Excellent flavor. I would suggest leaving out the bacon, as the dish is rich enough. I just crumbled some up and served it on the side. Time consuming recipe (because of the frying) but well worth it!!
A good vegetarian recipe to have on hand. Mine came out a bit dry, but it was still flavorful.
Very easy and good. I was surprised that even my kids would eat it. I did cut down on the sugar though, to 1/2 cup and it was fine.
Have to disagree with the 5 stars - too much mayo in this recipes makes for an overly greasy crabcake, not light full of crab flavor.
Easy and delicious. I added chicken (shredded from a cooked one from a grocery store), used whole wheat pasta and fresh corn, and everyone loved it!!
I think the dish looked good, but I made it just as written, and have to say I was diaappointed as it was very very bland.
Made this the other night, like others I tweaked it a bit. I used 2 lbs of shrimp but only 1 cup of butter with 1/2 cup of wine. I added several tbs of parmesan as well and served over angel hair pasta. Everyone liked it a lot!!
Made this a few nights ago, and found it to be both subtle and delicious. Everyone, adults and kids, enjoyed it. So easy, and very elegant too.
