Very easy recipe and was very tasty. Only changes I made: added 1.5 cups of sliced mushrooms to the onion/garlic, a couple of splashes of red wine added with the beef broth, and used more sour cream and less cream cheese. Served over egg noodles.
Excellent and very easy to make. Agree with those that made extra sauce; used about 2/3 of the recommended pasta but made the full amount of sauce. Would definitely make again.
Have tried many other scone recipes over the years but this simple one turned out the best; most like scones I had while in Ireland and England. Only change, used buttermilk.
So easy and so good! The fish was light and flaky and delicious. Reminds me of the fresh caught haddock from Oneida lake I had as a kid. Added a few squirts of lemon as others suggested.
I’m not sure why there are others that did not like this recipe but I loved it. The maple is not overpowering; gives it a nice flavor and it is definitely a keeper.? plus was very easy to make. I did halved the hot paste so it was not too hot. ?I feel that the marinating time should be at least 4 hours.
