Twitter has been an endless torrent of information during the coronavirus pandemic. From breaking news, to how to keep yourself entertained during self-distancing, the social media platform is a fount of knowledge. But even amongst all the noise, a recent thread of Tweets caught our attention.

User @franklinleonard asked what purchases unexpectedly improved your life during lockdown, and the responses didn't disappoint. Plenty of users pointed out kitchen tools and appliances that have upped their cooking (and snacking) game, so we've rounded up the best responses so you can enjoy these products too:

KitchenAid Stand Mixer

@lostblackboy discovered the magic of the KitchenAid mixer. With everyone baking their way through quarantine, it's no surprise that this stainless steel mixer got a spot on his list. Use the dough hook for kneading bread, the wire whip for your next batch of meringues, or the flat beater setting to mix up some cookies. Available in 23 colors, you're sure to find one to fit your kitchen's decor.

AeroGarden Sprout Planter

Running out to the store on-the-regular for short-living greens and herbs isn't always an option right now. Which is probably why @carynrose loves her new AeroGarden so much. This tabletop garden allows you to grow everything from lettuce to tomatoes with full-spectrum light bulbs that mimic natural sunlight. And with a helpful control panel that reminds you to feed and water your plants, even those without a green thumb can enjoy some indoor gardening with the AeroGarden.

Ice Cream Maker

Every hour can be happy hour when you're stuck at home! @YesMrGilbert says they took this sentiment to heart, originally purchasing their ice cream maker for its intended purposes, but soon switching it to a frozen margarita maker instead. So whether you're craving a scoop of chocolate swirl, or just want to sip on some tequila by the pool, an ice cream maker should be at the top of your list.

The Kitchen Safe

Quarantine got you snacking throughout the day? @GplusB offers the perfect solution by recommending The Kitchen Safe. This handy see-through box can be filled with whatever tempts you, whether it's snack cakes or chips, and set to unlock within a certain timeframe. Choose anything from 1 minute to 10 days, and The Kitchen Safe will automatically unlock, giving you free rein to enjoy your munchies.

All-Clad Pots and Pans

More and more of us are having to break out our cooking skills to pass the time (and fill our stomachs) while staying inside. @Violetskyye describes herself as "the most undomestic person around" but still invested in a set of All-Clad pots and pans to make more delicious meals. With a heat-responsive aluminum core, these stainless steel coated pots and pans perfectly conduct heat for even and perfect cooking every time.
