Best Asian-inspired shrimp recipes!

Here's one for the shrimp lovers! We scoured the globe to bring you a dozen of our favorite Asian-inspired shrimp recipes, featuring spicy Szechwan shrimp, Thai-style grilled shrimp, flavorful Indian curries, shrimp fried rice, and more. Many of these recipes are ready in 40 minutes or less.

If you're not keen to peel a pile of fresh shrimp, check your local market for pre-peeled, deveined raw shrimp. And if you can't find raw, pre-prepped shrimp, consider frozen shrimp -- and don't miss Chef John's quick tricks for making frozen shrimp as tasty as fresh.

1. Szechwan Shrimp

This quick, spicy Szechwan-style shrimp recipe pairs fresh shrimp with ginger, soy sauce, garlic, crushed red peppers, and a little ketchup. "Excellent," says LIZCANCOOK. "The sauce is fantastic! And it's so quick -- ready before the broccoli side finished steaming in the microwave!"

10. Easy Shrimp Lo Mein

Broccoli and mushrooms combine with a quick sauce made with soy, oyster, and fish sauces, plus garlic, ginger, and a little brown sugar. "The sauce is phenomenal," says AV8TOR.
