We're always looking for new chicken recipes to try! So we thought we'd take a peek at the most popular chicken recipes of 2018. Specifically, the newest chicken recipes. Of all the chicken recipes we published in 2018, these ten were the most viewed by the Allrecipes community. They feature everything from portable pot pies to chicken enchilidas -- and include dishes cooked in the skillet, oven, cast-iron pan, and Instant Pot. Give these chicken recipes a try; they're the best of 2018.

1. Easy Hand-Held Chicken Pot Pies

This chicken hand-pie recipe was viewed more than any other new chicken recipe of 2018. "These easy mini hand-pies are made with biscuit dough, canned chicken, and frozen vegetables for a simple and savory hand-held snack or appetizer," says Christina.

2. Creamy Chicken and Shrimp Alfredo

Chicken and shrimp combine in a creamy Alfredo sauce flavored with sun-dried tomatoes, pesto, and garlic. "You'll love my twist on this creamy Alfredo," says Tree Lee. "A perfect match with a nice green salad, and you must have garlic bread to sop up this creamy sauce."

3. Creamy Hatch Chile Chicken

New Mexican Hatch chiles are the stars of this easy but flavorful dish also featuring rotisserie chicken, corn, and Mexican crema. "Hatch chiles are in season for only 8 weeks a year, 10 weeks if the weather is extra warm," says Yoly. "Our local markets roast and sell them in 25-lb boxes. We buy 50 lbs every year, package them, and freeze them. This flavorful recipe can be served in tortillas, over rice, or by itself."

Here's an easy weeknight chicken dinner. "This quick chicken stir-fry with pineapple is as delicious as it is colorful," says Natasha. "Serve with rice for a complete meal, or fried rice for a treat. Add red chile flakes to the mix if you want something sweet and spicy!"

Here's a gluten-free, wheat-free chicken pot pie for the Instant Pot. "Make this delicious, flavorful, chicken pot (no pie) pie in your Instant Pot® pressure cooker," says Jane Cooks It Up. "Not necessary to pre-saute the chicken or onions. Serve in bowls."

One more for the Instant Pot! "This is a rich, creamy coconut-curry dish that comes together quickly in an Instant Pot®," says Helene Choi. "Customize the taste by using more or less curry powder and sugar. Delicious over jasmine or basmati rice! Garnish with chopped chives, if desired."
