Tastykake Cupcakes Recalled in 8 States for Potential Metal Contamination

Flowers Foods is currently recalling certain multi-pack Tastykake cupcakes due to possible contamination with fragments of mesh wire. The affected products were sold at retailers including Target and more than 500 Walmart locations in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia Washington, D.C., and West Virginia.

The recall, which was initiated following a vendor's notification of possible contamination, was announced on Sunday, Oct. 31. Currently, no injuries have been reported.

If you have purchased any of the following items, dispose of them or return them to the store where you purchased them for a refund. You can call Flower Foods at 1-866-245-8921 during business hours or email the company via their contact page.
