Baseball and tacos are a winning combination.

For fans of both baseball and tacos, the greatest combination you can find is here: Taco Bell is giving fans a chance to win free tacos if they can guess who will steal the first base in the World Series.

But this year, the seventh year of the contest, the taco purveyor is teaming up with BetMGM, operated by Roar Digital. BetMGM will let sports and taco fans wager real money — not just taco dreams — on who will snag that base from under the opposing team's watch and be dubbed the "Taco Hero" of the 2019 games.

"When it comes to the World Series, rooting for that first stolen base and rejoicing for free tacos has really become the game within the game. So, teaming up with BetMGM to give fans a whole new way to participate in 'Steal A Base, Steal A Taco' felt like a natural extension for us," said Will Bortz, Director of Brand Partnerships and Sponsorships at Taco Bell in a press release. "We can't wait to see fans engage with the program like never before and, of course, we're excited to see if their predictions come true."

MGM Resorts in Nevada, Mississippi, and New Jersey are a part of the "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" promotion. You can also download the BetMGM digital app in New Jersey (playMGM in Nevada). But, you must be 21 or older to bet.

Then, BetMGM will post prop bets on October 14, which is before the end of the League Championship Series. You can select from the full list of active players from the four remaining playoff teams for people to wage on.

The 2019 World Series starts Tuesday, October 22, 2019, and once that major first base is stolen, Taco Bell will announce when people can snag a free Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos. But hurry, the free tacos can go fast.

You have to be a registered user on Taco Bell's website or app to claim your free food, so go sign up now before the ball flies out of the park on this opportunity.
