3. Irish Ginger Snaps

"Love these cookies! Dough was crumbly, so rolling the balls took a little more time. I also flattened the balls with a drinking glass bottom and increased the cooking time to 12 minutes. They turned out perfect." -- ROSEANNA L.

5. The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

"WONDERFUL. Make sure you chill at least 1 hour to firm up the dough. Knead the dough before rolling out with pin. Use SUGAR instead of flour when rolling. There are many options with these cookies. They are great iced. Two thumbs up!" -- amsuka

6. Irish Potato Candy

"These are so cute! I surrounded a plate of Irish Soda Bread with them. They are a great touch for St. Patrick's Day. I would recommend chilling the mixture for about five minutes before forming the potatoes, then chilling them again for a few minutes before rolling them in the cinnamon. They keep their irregular potato shape better that way." -- Mallinda

7. Grandma Mottle's Blarney Stones

"Every St. Patrick's Day when we were growing up, my grandmother would have us over to make Blarney Stones, pound cake cubes dipped in frosting and rolled in dry roasted peanuts. This became a tradition we considered part of our Irish family heritage." -- Elizabeth

9. St. Patrick's Day Zucchini-Oatmeal Cookies

"I made a double batch of these for a St Patrick's Day Party, and they were a big hit with adults and kiddos! I did one batch with chocolate chips, 1 batch with raisins, and both were gobbled up. If you want the green to stand out more, add green food coloring." -- KATFIRST
