When you want to fill up but not fill out, give these low calorie soups a try. They're hearty and healthy — and all less than 350 calories.

1. Vegetarian Kale Soup

"This wonderful soup is full of dark green kale, potatoes, and cannellini beans," says Donna B. "It will warm your insides, delight your taste buds, and fill your stomach on a cold winter's night." Watch the video to see how easy it is to make.

2. Cream of Broccoli Soup I

You'll chop half the blanched broccoli and puree the other half for this creamy soup seasoned with a dash of nutmeg. "The nutmeg spice really added a great taste in this recipe," says Chris. "I didn't add anything but a bit of sharp Cheddar at the end. Amazing!"

3. Butternut and Apple Harvest Soup

This comforting soup brings together a medley of Autumn vegetables -- potatoes, butternut squash, carrots, apples, and leeks. "Perfect soup! A balance of tangy and mellow, sweet and savory," says SunnyByrd. "Comforting, fresh, and wholesome."

4. Lentil Soup

A hearty lentil soup that's chock full of healthy veggies, including spinach and crushed tomatoes. A splash of vinegar brightens up the flavors. "Luscious Lentils," says ASTROYO. "I added cumin, dash of curry, and increased all the spices and spinach for a more flavorful soup. It's hearty and very healthful!"

5. Roasted Beet and Potato Soup

A rich and creamy beet and potato soup thickened by blending the vegetables with an immersion blender. "It's a nice hearty puree," says kprzy. "Super-easy to put together, especially if you roast the potatoes and beets beforehand."

6. Jamie's Minestrone

A veggie-friendly minestrone soup with baby spinach, zucchini, and green beans, kidney beans, aromatic veggies, and seasonings -- all simmered in a delicious tomato-sauce and red-wine base. You'll ladle the soup over cooked seashell pasta and top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and a drizzle of olive oil. "This is really great soup," says Robin. "It is so hearty and so tasty."

7. Easy Vegan Black Bean Soup

Cans of black beans and diced tomatoes combine with carrots, green bell peppers, garlic, and onion and cumin in this vegan soup. "This is a wonderful and warming black bean soup that is sure to bring you back for seconds," says rtyoumans. "The longer you simmer it, the more flavorful it will be."

8. Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Chicken noodle soup in just 30 minutes! "This is so easy to make and so good," says Gr8typist. "I cook the chicken breasts in the broth to make the broth a bit richer, then build the soup from there."

9. Mulligatawny Soup I

This delicious Indian-inspired soup is ready in about an hour. It combines cubed chicken with curry powder, rice, cream, and a little chopped apple. "The name Mulligatawny means 'pepper water'," says Lise P. "And curry is the particular ingredient that gives this incredible soup such a delicious flavor.

10. Curried Butternut Squash Soup

"This is a rich, savory, and decadent soup with a hint of sweet," lisaschepp. ""So delicious! This tastes like it was simmered long and low in order to develop such depth, yet it is so simple."

11. Sweet Potato, Carrot, Apple, and Red Lentil Soup

For this warm and flavorful winter soup, you'll puree sweet potatoes, carrots, apples, and red lentils until silky smooth and season with ginger, cumin, and chili powder. "This recipe tasted wonderful, was inexpensive, and easy to make," says ebanne. "Such a delicious and unique combination."

12. Tarragon Chicken and Rice Soup

Here's a low-fat, low-calorie soup that's big on flavor. "This makes a very thick soup, with a bite of something in every spoonful," says RUBYJEWEL. "The tarragon gives it a special taste. Tastes great the next day for leftovers!"
