Unless you're a dedicated vegetarian or vegan, there's a good chance that you appreciate a crispy, finely prepared piece of bacon. The main challenge is that it's hard to really cook bacon and multitask, unless you're willing to deal with inferior-quality bacon that's been prepared in the microwave.

Until now, that is. Why? Because a little something called the Presto PowerCrisp Microwave Bacon Cooker is here to make microwaving perfect bacon feasible.

Though it sounds like an odd concept, the PowerCrisp essentially functions like a clothesline for bacon. To use it, you simply hang your strips of delicious pork onto one of the three vertical racks, each of which can accommodate up to four strips of bacon. From there, simply pop it in the microwave and watch it do its work, with help from a drip tray that catches grease and keeps it away from your hanging bacon.

Once it's done, all you have to do is delicately peel away the bacon from the edge of the bacon clothesline with a knife and go to town on your successfully microwaved meat. You can even toss it in your dishwasher when you're done, which sure beats the process of properly dumping grease and cleaning out a frying pan.

Though it might seem too good to be true, the 4.4-star rating it currently holds on Amazon suggests otherwise. Reviewers make note that you might still need to drape some paper towels, but once you dial in the process, it works pretty well.

So stop frying your bacon in a pan like a normal person and stick it on a rack that goes in the microwave. Life's too short to have to actually pay attention to how your delicious bacon cooks, anyways.
