It's like an entire loaf of bread with two holes to hold your favorite soups, stews, and pastas.

First came a basket of rolls. Then came never-ending breadsticks. Now the future is here, carb-lovers, with Panera's double bread bowl.

Launching August 5 through 31 as a test at a handful of Philadelphia Panera locations, these two-hole bread bowls are made for sharing—or for satisfying the heartiest appetites. Fill it with two soup varieties, double up on mac and cheese, or try a combo; just be sure to grab a spoon—or two—and bring an empty stomach.

Word is still out whether Panera will release the double bread bowl across the U.S., but if social media has anything to say about it, it will only be a matter of time until every state gets a taste.
