Ladies and gentlebunnies, we have a winner!
Yesterday, after a nationwide search for Cadbury's next four-legged Easter star, the candy brand announced that they have found their muse. And the winner of Cadbury's first-ever "Bunny Tryouts" is… (drumroll please) Henri! An exquisitely wrinkled English bulldog from Wilmington, North Carolina!
Over 4,000 entries of pets wearing bunny ears were submitted to the contest. With help from Insta-famous star honorary judge, Doug the Pug, the judges selected Henri to star in the Cadbury Clucking Bunny commercial alongside the Cadbury bunny this Easter.
"When people see the iconic Cadbury Clucking Bunny commercial, they know Easter season is here," Katrina Vatter, Marketing Team Member for Cadbury US, said in a news release. "For the first time in over 35 years, we are honored to expand our tradition and welcome Henri as a new character to the commercial."
Congrats, Henri! Keep your eyes peeled for this handsome pup's television debut in April.
