Food News and Trends Lady Gaga Is Getting Her Own Oreos It's the cookie brand's first celeb collab. By Tim Nelson Published on December 2, 2020 Share Tweet Pin Email Lately, it feels like there's always something going on with Oreos. The Nabisco/Mondelez cookie has done a whole lot, celebrating the LGBTQ+ community, offering fans a chance to customize their cookies, and even ditching the sense of taste entirely with a scented candle. Now, in an unexpected bit of belated cross-promotion, Oreo has teamed up to create a limited edition line of cookies with… Lady Gaga?! You read that right. Somehow, Mother Monster herself has helped dream up a line of Chromatica Oreos, inspired by her album of the same name that came out in May of 2020. A definite departure from the aesthetics of any other Oreo you've ever seen, Lady Gaga's take on the snack deploys the bold combination of a pink cookie (a take on the Golden Oreo) with green creme. Additionally, each Oreo features three unique designs inspired by the album and its artwork. As Lady Gaga tells it, there's a meaning behind the cookie and its unorthodox color combination. "This collab is inspired by the world of Chromatica, where kindness rules all things" she said in a media statement. "I love these pink cookies with green creme, and hope they brighten your day as much as they do mine!" Because Lady Gaga has such a loyal army of "monsters," Oreo is offering her "Stans" a chance to get in on the offering early. Signing up for the Lady Gaga x Oreo "Stan Club" can give you all the info you need about finding these limited-edition cookies. Not only will the first 1,000 to sign up get some Chromatica Oreos for free, they'll also have a chance to learn about the upcoming Sing It with Oreo promotion (which will let people send musical "OREOgrams") and associated prizes. Dream Job Alert: You Can Get Paid $5,000 to Bake and Taste Holiday Cookies Starting in January, you'll find six-packs (presumably two of each cookie design) available at convenience stores, with details about a fuller-size release still to come. It may not be a Lady Gaga concert or even a signature McDonald's meal, but it's something. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
