Ladies and gentleman, we can now reveal the key to fuss-free lasagna...use ravioli.

Isn't that like saying the secret to a great burrito is a taco? Well, hold on. Because here's recipe-submitter Randy to explain the game-changing wisdom of lasagna made with ravioli: "I thought using frozen ravioli already filled with cheese instead of layering noodles and cheese would make a great dish so easy."

So true, Randy. Now any time is the right time for lasagna. Things could get out of hand. Deliciously out of hand.

Randy's Slow Cooker Ravioli Lasagna

"The flavors all come together in the slow cooker. Just scoop it out, serve with a salad, and enjoy," says Randy. See how it's done:

The recipe calls for using the slow cooker. But it's oven friendly, too.

"I've made this lots of times, but always in the oven," says Georgia Miseyko Gutekunst. "The method is basically the same. I cover the baking pan with foil and bake it about 45 minutes to one hour at 350."

Ready for Raves? The People Have Spoken

"This would be great for busy families that have after school activities," says KGora. "Just toss the ingredients in the cooker, run your errands or kiddos around and come home to a hot cooked meal."

"I used my own homemade sauce with this....so good. Kids, husband, and mother devoured it!" says Kelly McClellan.

"I'm not a huge slow cooker fan, but this one won me over," says lutzflcat. "I think one or two links of Italian sausage cooked with the ground beef would be a good addition. The presentation may not be classic lasagna, but you definitely will think you're eating lasagna...those cheese raviolis really do the job!"

"I just add mozzarella after the lasagna is scooped out instead of putting it on top while still in the crock pot," says L K. "It is super-delicious reheated as well. This is one of my favorites and I probably will never make 'real' lasagna again."

"I loved this... So good and very easy to make. You can adjust the seasoning to taste and add in extras like mushrooms if you like," says Susan Gomolak.
