"Famous for being both feather-light and indulgently rich at the same time, French silk pie entered the American dessert canon upon winning the Pillsbury bake-off in 1951. It's one of the only dessert recipes that calls for eggs straight from the fridge; you'll whip them with melted chocolate for quite a while before chilling the pie--but rejoice, there's no baking whatsoever!" — Smart Cookie

Smart Cookie's Top Tips:

1. There's an advantage to using Oreo® Thins in this recipe. The thin layer of cream inside them helps bind everything together so you don't need to use as much butter.

2. Ingredient temps are key for this no-bake pie. Your eggs must be cold, straight from the fridge. The melted chocolate has to be at room temp, almost a solid again. The butter should be at room temperature.

3. The secret ingredient for the filling is instant coffee granules. Any time you're working with chocolate, a little instant coffee really brings out the cocoa flavor.
