In late summer and early fall, all food brands everywhere begin releasing their multitude of pumpkin spice-flavored snacks and drinks. It's glory for those who love nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and cinnamon in their cookies, coffee, and cocoa. But if you aren't a fan of the flood of PSL-inspired snack plethora, we have good news: peppermint season is coming.

Häagen-Dazs just announced they'll be bringing back their Peppermint Bark line of frozen treats. An annual holiday hit, the flavor is available in a 14-ounce carton for $5.49 or as a box of three ice cream bars, also for $5.49.

The ice cream features rich, creamy white chocolate ice cream studded with crispy pieces of dark chocolate and bits of peppermint candy. The ice cream bars are also made with white chocolate ice cream, but the dark chocolate forms a thick, crunchy coating that's speckled with peppermint candy pieces.

You don't have to wait until Thanksgiving passes to enjoy the holiday cheer. The cartons will be in grocery stores nationwide beginning October 1.

If you're lucky enough to have a Häagen-Dazs shop near you, you can also enjoy the flavor in a variety of special sweets from the store, including a Peppermint Bark Shake and a Peppermint Bark Brownie Cookie Sandwich.

Häagen-Dazs may have beat most other brands to their holiday news — Hershey's did reveal a sugar cookie-flavored Hershey's Kiss already — but we suspect we'll be hearing lots more about great holiday flavors and special releases, so stay tuned.
