Dunkin' Changing Its Name to Pumpkin' for Fall Menu Launch
You might score free coffee to honor the name switcheroo, too.
Dunkin' is launching their new fall menu with a fun twist: a name change. On Wednesday, August 14, eight Dunkin' stores across the country will become Pumpkin' in honor of the seasonal menu.
During the one-day event, these eight Dunkin' — excuse me, Pumpkin' — stores will offer free small hot or iced Pumpkin Coffee to the first 250 guests. You may also be able to score a pumpkin-scented MUNCHKINS lip balm from the limited quantity the stores will have on hand.
The eight stores selected for the event spell out the word P-U-M-P-K-I-N-'. Dunkin' revealed in a press release those special cities are:
P: 270 Academy Avenue, Providence, RI
U: 15304 Hanover Pike, Upperco, MD
M: 2765 Sandy Plains Rd, Marietta, GA
P: 98 Clairton Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA
K: 5125 S. Orange Blossom Trail, Kissimmee, FL
I: 6405 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail, NC
N: 850 8th Avenue, New York, NY
': 510 South Hampton Street, Boston, MA (a nod to Dunkin's hometown)
If you can't make it to the fall menu launch event or you just don't live near one of the handful of stores that will be flipping their logo, you can go ahead and circle August 21 on your calendar. That's when the full pumpkin menu arrives, complete with new options like Cinnamon Sugar Pumpkin Signature Latte and an Apple Cider Donut and returning favorites like pumpkin-flavored coffee and a Pumpkin Donut.
