The military diet calls for low-calorie eating all week—and 3 "fast" days of extremely low-calorie eating. Here's dinner ideas for each day of the diet.

Day 1: 1400 calories or less for the day. Dinner needs to be light.

Main: Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken — 220 calories

Veggie: Garlic Asparagus With Lime — 73 calories

Starch: Lime Cilantro Rice — 84 calories

Day 2: 1200 calories or less. Go even lighter with fish.

Main: Garlic Salmon — 169 calories

Day 3: 1100 calories or less. Turn vegetarian for a day.
