CVS Pharmacy boasts over 15 exclusive brands, with everything from vitamins and supplements to beauty products and more. But their two food brands, Gold Emblem and Gold Emblem Abound, are providing shoppers with cheaper alternatives to name brand snack foods and pantry staples.

Those looking to incorporate healthy eating habits into their diet this New Year will appreciate products from the Gold Emblem Abound line, all of which contain no artificial preservatives and 0 grams trans fat. Gluten-free, sodium-free, and cholesterol-free options are also available.

After taste-testing dozens of products from the private-label food brands at CVS, we've narrowed it down to 10 products we'd buy again. Read on for our review of CVS store brand products.

1. Gold Emblem Abound 100% Fruit Strips Variety Pack

This variety pack comes with both apple strawberry and apple wildberry fruit strips. These would make a great on-the-go snack for kids and adults alike. Our taste testers (all of which are adults) loved the subtle flavor of these fruit strips, and with only 3 grams of added sugar, they're low in guilt, too! One tester even went as far as to compare the taste to Fruit Roll-Ups — the highest form of praise.

4. Gold Emblem Abound Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips

Although the sweet potato flavor of these chips wasn't as strong as some competitor brands, our testers still found these to be a solid tortilla chip if you're in the mood for something different. They're the perfect vehicle for salsa, guacamole, or any dip of your choice. And with 19 grams of whole grains per serving, you don't have to feel so bad about your snacking.

5. Gold Emblem Everything Bagel Seasoning

If you haven't tried Everything Bagel Seasoning yet, it's time to hop on the bandwagon. I love to sprinkle it on avocado toast and eggs in the morning, but there's really endless ways to use this seasoning blend. If you don't live near a Trader Joe's or don't want to make the blend yourself, Gold Emblem's version is what you've been searching for. One tester says, "I would put this on everything!"
