The Seasoning Every Ketchup Lover Should Have in Their Pantry
I love ketchup an almost embarrassing amount. I put it on my tofu scramble, grilled cheeses, mashed potatoes, and anything else that could use a sweet and tangy note. I even own matching ″I put ketchup on my ketchup″ shirts with my nephew, guaranteeing my condiment obsession will be passed to the next generation.

Over the next week I put the Badia Spice's Ketchup Seasoning to the test. It's excellent as a coating on fries, mixed into condiments (yes, I see the irony here), and sprinkled over roasted veggies. It's also delicious on a variety of proteins, but I recommend adding it after baking or roasting because due to the high sugar content the seasoning caramelizes very easily.
This has become my go-to all-purpose seasoning now. Badia Spice's Ketchup Seasoning would be perfect for anyone wanting the sweet tanginess of ketchup with fewer calories or a shelf-stable option. I've even briefly pondered taking it on international trips with me, so like a truly embarrassing American I can add "ketchup" to my dishes. But for now I'll just keep it in my home's spice cabinet.
